COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide students with practical skills and knowledge to manage and secure an organization's IT infrastructure by identifying, responding to, and preventing security threats. The course covers operational aspects of Cybersecurity such as threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, system hardening, and digital forensics. By engaging in hands-on labs and real-world case studies, students will gain proficiency with security tools, including SIEM, Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS), and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms, preparing them for roles in Cybersecurity operations.
