Do you have Type II diabetes?

Are you interested in learning more about the disease, learning about self-management practices and sharing experiences with other diabetics? You may be interested in Mobile DSMS!

 

Research Summary

This study determines the usefulness of technology, in this case a cell phone, in improving adherence to diabetes self-management practices and improving glucose control in patients with Type 2 diabetes. The study is for diabetics who have access to a cell phone and a glucometer on a daily basis. Costs associated with the use of the mobile application will be reimbursed. The study lasts for 12 weeks and includes 4 meetings with the researchers.
