MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT

The Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Public Sector Management comprises thirty-eight (38) credits (from ten (10) taught courses and a practicum or two (2) elective courses worth six (6) credits). The Practicum component is intended to allow students to apply the knowledge gained in the various courses to a real-world administrative situation within their work environment. 

To be admitted to the prescribed coure of study for the programme, candiates must:

i. hold a bachelor's degree from an approved university.

ii. normally the class of degree should be at least lower second class honours. 

iii. in some programmes, practical experience or other qualifications of special relevance to the course programme may be required.

iv. in some programmes, applicants may have to write an entrance examination or may have to do qualifying courses. In the latter instance, that student will be deemed to be a qualifying student.
