DCIT Students Win Local AgriHack Talent Competition
The Agri-Hack Talent Caribbean National Hackathon is the local round of the Agri-Hack Talent Caribbean competition hosted by Noviate Creative Labs Ltd in collaboration with the Science and Technology Department of the University of the Southern Caribbean & Agribiotics Co. Ltd.
The competition is an initiative of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture and ConnectiMass.
Mr. Boodhoo and Mr. Taylor were the only two member team and they defied all odds to win the local leg. They would be departing on Saturday 4th October 2014 to Suriname to compete in the final stage of the competition. The Department wishes them success in this endeavor.
