COMPETITION FORMAT

Runtime follows International Competitive Programming format such as the ICPC.

Competitors submit command line programs as solutions to a collection of challenges.

Solutions are tested for efficiency and correctness achieved by the application of algorithms and data structures.

Testing is automated and done in real-time and thus judging is done automatically.

The award goes to the solution that executes the fastest (runtime).

These type of problems are typically done in the technical interview rounds of companies such as Google, Twitter and amazon.
