Research Opportunities for

The Medical Students at the UWI St. Augustine

Engage in Groundbreaking Medical Research

The student research programme involves the implementation of a project proposal developed; Students will be provided with the opportunities to apply the theoretical principles of research from the proposal level to implementation of the research project in addressing health related problems. Students will be required to obtain ethics approval from the relevant authorities, collect and analyse data. These areas include public health and clinical medical areas.

At the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, medical students have access to a wide range of research opportunities designed to enhance their academic and professional development. These initiatives provide hands-on experience, foster innovation, and contribute to advancements in healthcare.
