Adele Jones

AdeleAdele Jones is a lecturer and coordinator of postgraduate social work programmes in the Department of Behavioural Sciences at the University of The West Indies, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Jones has researched extensively on issues of marginalization, international children's rights and constructions of childhood. Her publications span the fields of family life, child abuse, residential childcare, HIV-AIDS, disability, migration, adoption and child-centred research methodologies. Dr. Jones' current research interests focus on the psychosocial implications of HIV-AIDS and she is Director of The Sondai Project which is developing social work research, practice and teaching materials for addressing HIV-AIDS in Caribbean contexts.
