Shaheeda Hosein


Dr. Shaheeda Hosein is a lecturer in the Department of History, University of the West Indies St Augustine, Trinidad. Her specialization and areas of study include
the history of female Indians, particularly rural female Indians, in Trinidad and Trinidad/Latin America relations with particular reference to Venezuela and Colombia.
Dr Hosein is the author of “Until Death do us part? Marriage, Divorce and the Indian Woman.” Oral History Journal. Vol. 30, No.1 2002, pp 63-72.
