Ananya Jahanara Kabir
Ananya Jahanara Kabir is Professor of English Literature at the Department of English, King’s College, London. She is the author of Territory of Desire: Representing the Valley of Kashmir (2009); Partition's Post-Amnesias: 1947, 1971 and Modern South Asia (2013), and numerous essays on the culture and politics of the South Asian diaspora. From 2013–2018 she will lead a project, “Modern Moves: Kinetic Transnationalism and Afro-Diasporic Rhythm Cultures”, funded through a European Research Council Advanced Grant.
