Bridget Brereton
Bridget Brereton is Professor of History at UWI, St Augustine. She is the author or editor of several books and many journal articles and book chapters, mainly on the history of the Caribbean and of Trinidad and Tobago since the end of slavery. She is a past President of the Association of Caribbean Historians, and was the first woman to win the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. She has served in several administrative positions, including Head of Department, Deputy Campus Principal, and Interim Campus Principal.
