Tracy Assing

Tracy Assing is a member of Trinidad’s Indigenous community and works as a writer, editor, documentary filmmaker, and communications strategist. Her film The Amerindians was the first documentary on Indigenous survival in the English-speaking Caribbean written, produced, and directed by a member of the community. Her essay “Unaccounted For” was the only non-fiction work included in the Commonwealth Writers anthology So Many Islands.
