Christine Craig
Christine Craig was born in Jamaica and earned her BA at the University of the West Indies. An unapologetic feminist, she was instrumental in the setting up of the Women’s Bureau in Jamaica in the 1980’s. Her poetry and short stories have been published in Caribbean, British and American magazines and journals. Her first collection of poems, Quadrile for Tigers, was published by Mina Press, Berkeley, California, and her short story collection Mint Tea was published by Heinemann, UK. Her collection of poems, All Things Bright was published by Peepal Tree Press, UK, in December 2010. She now lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
