Alyssa Mohammed

Alyssa Mohammed is a current Human Geography DPhil (PhD) student at the University of Oxford, generously funded by the Rhodes Scholarship for the Commonwealth Caribbean. She holds a BSc in Sociology and PGDip Gender and Development from the UWI St Augustine, and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy (Oxon). Her research interests concern the intersections of gender, religion, sexual and reproductive health and rights and (post)coloniality, with special focus on Indo-Caribbean communities
