From July 8^th 2019 – July 12^th 2019, the Department of Computing and Information Technology (DCIT) will host its 5^th Annual Computing Boot Camp (CBC) at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

Camp Vision

To create a new generation of students who are motivated and interested in learning and applying Computing and Information Technology to improve Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.

Mission

1. To inspire and stimulate who are motivated and interested in Computing and Information Technology

2. To expose prospective students to leading research and innovative projects within DCIT

3. To prepare prospective students for the challenges and opportunities of university life

Target Audience

• Students in Forms 5 and 6 in secondary schools

• Students entering university undergraduate programmes

Interested students who are eager to participate in our camp but fall outside our target audience are warmly encouraged to apply for entry

Applications: April 15^th- May 19^th, 2019

Notification of Acceptance: May 24^th, 2019

Registration: May 27^th – July 5^th, 2019

Deadline for Payment: July 5^th, 2019

Boot Camp: July 8^th- July 12^th, 2019

The fee for attending the 2019 Computing Boot Camp (CBC) is $1299 TTD.
