Dear Sir/Madam:
1. The University of the West Indies (The UWI), St. Augustine, Trinidad, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), toward the cost of the Regional Blue Carbon Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) Mechanism. The St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (STACIE), an executing agency of the Borrower, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation is issued. Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the The University of the West Indies (The UWI) and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the loan contract.
2. The St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship now invites eligible individual consultants to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called “Services”): International Conference Organiser for Blue Carbon and Wetlands Conference. More details on the Services are provided in the Terms of Reference attached to this invitation.
3. It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other individual.
An eligible individual consultant will be selected under procedures Individual Consultant Selection (open invitation), from a source country in accordance with Section V of the Policy for the Selection and Contracting of Consulting Services financed by the IDB GN 2350-15 which can be found at the following website: www.iadb.org/procurement.
4. Your expression of interest letter accompanied by your curriculum vitae should be submitted by July 30th 2024, in writing at St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, St. Augustine Campus, The University of the West Indies
