The Faculty of Medical Sciences

On-line registration can be completed via the web from anywhere, either on or off campus from between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight as follows:

• On-line registration OPENS:    19th August 2019
• On-line registration CLOSES:  13th September 2019
• Late registration/late payment fee applies from: 9th September 2019
• Change of Registration (ADD/DROP) – There is no specified Add/Drop period. 

Registration will remain open until 13th September 2019.

NOTE: Registration will NOT be permitted after September 13th, 2019 for Semester 1 without the approval of the Academic Board.  Additional late registration fines will be imposed by the Academic Board.   

All students can register online at the Medical Sciences Library from Monday August 19, 2019 to Friday September 13, 2019, between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm.

ALL STUDENTS MUST:

• Register for Semester I and Year Long courses ONLY.
• Submit a copy of their acceptance letter and one (1) passport size photo to the Mrs. Louise Bovell, Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medical Sciences –
• Submit the following to Student Accounts, The Bursary for financial clearance:
  • Fee Sheet/Course Registration Fee Assessment Invoice - ensuring that the student agreement is signed at the bottom of the invoice.
• Proof of payment OR Scholarship Letter
• Documents can also be scanned and emailed to Students Accounts, The Bursary using the address below:

Student Payment Plan (SPP)

The Student Payment Plan is available to the following:

1. Any National of Trinidad and Tobago pursuing either Undergraduate or Postgraduate programmes at UWI, St. Augustine Campus.
2. Any national of another contributing territory apart from Trinidad and Tobago who is not on scholarship support from their respective Government.

Once accepted for the SPP, students are required to make payments in line with stipulated deadline dates below

UWI ID/SMART CARD - Photo Upload Application

Student Guidelines - The UWI ID photo upload application allows new incoming students to submit their photo online which will be printed on the UWI ID Card.

To submit photo online and receive UWI ID Card the student would be required to following the steps below:

1. Have someone take your picture- For more details and instructions on the criteria of acceptable photos, please visit https://idcard.sta.uwi.edu/Guide
2. Complete your online course selection to receive e-mail with login credentials
3. Upload your photo
4. Your photo will be validated
5. Collect your UWI ID Card
6. Swipe your UWI ID Card to make it active
