Calls to Action

#TTCompaniesCan Campaign

In March 2018, The Institute for Gender and Development Studies called for a private sector strategy to address Violence Against Women. Today, thanks to the Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CADV) and the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce, there is now a Domestic Violence in the Workplace Policy click here which can be adopted by companies across Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region, and there is beginnings of a communication campaign, and steps toward roll out of training sessions on policy implementation.

The Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, ANSA McAL Group of Companies, First Citizens Bank, AMCHAM, Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and other companies have been a part of moving this forward step by step.

November 25th marks the beginning of the globally recognized 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. During this annual international campaign, it is critical that companies show visible understanding of corporate social responsibility, and how this relates to supporting the DV in the Workplace Policy.

We are happy to share with you and your organisation/workplace/group a 16 Days of Activism Media Package, as part of a collaborative approach with TT Chamber, CADV, ANSA McAL Group of Companies and the UWI-IGDS, tailored to private sector businesses for use on media platforms. Please click here for open access to the materials. You will find social media ready cards, moving slides, One Standard PDF and One PDF with crop marks for print.

Help us amplify the campaign by sharing widely.
Thank you!
