This 15-hour, blended workshop seeks to critically engage participants with cutting-edge concepts, ideas, and global best practices in Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teaching and learning. It will guide them in implementing new approaches in reflective practice in their teaching and learning contexts, related to lesson planning, methodologies, assessment strategies and the integration of technology. Are you a parent whose child is fascinated with East Asian Culture? This workshop is designed especially for him/her. Over the course of 1 week your child will be exposed to the cultures of two major East Asian countries: China and Japan. Participants, aged 10 – 17, will gain rich, linguistic and cultural insights so as to develop their communication skills and respect for other cultures.
