The Centre for Language Learning is a member of the European Confederation of Language Centres in Higher Education. This membership is an invaluable resource for the Centre regarding professional development and training opportunities.
The CERCLES has facilitated training on the use of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the framework used at the Centre to describe proficiency levels in its foreign languages.
It has also participated in quality assurance exercises in order to ensure that the quality of instruction delivered at the Centre is a high calibre and in keeping with best practice for Higher Education Institutions.
