Languages for Life
In 2015, the Centre for Language Learning organized the first Languages for Life Secondary School Competition. This initiative was a result of an innovative research project entitled, Language and Competitiveness: Positioning Trinidad and Tobago for Sustainable Development.
Celebrating the Chinese New Year
Beginning in 2020, Chinese learners at the CLL, celebrate the Chinese New Year, according to the Lunar Calendar, by sending greetings and well wishes to the CLL family. We are happy to see our students use their foreign language to communicate in real-life scenarios!
The Annual Japanese Language Speech Contest
The Japanese Language Speech Contest is a highly anticipated event among students of Japanese and other Asian languages at the CLL. Contest winners select from a list of prizes including tablets, free courses at the CLL, Japanese textbooks, JLPT exercise books and restaurant vouchers.
